Data centers in Muskogee County

Core Scientific, a former bitcoin miner pivoting to AI hosting, completed a 444 million dollar acquisition of Polaris Technologies' site adjacent to its existing Muskogee campus, adding about 440 megawatts of gross power and more than 40 acres. The company says the combined Muskogee campus is being scaled toward roughly 1.5 gigawatts of gross power to host high density Nvidia GB300 style AI hardware, with an initial building targeted for delivery in the second quarter of 2026.

Google announced plans for two additional data center campuses near the small towns of Summit and Council Hill in Muskogee County, part of the company's two year, 9 billion dollar Oklahoma investment. OG&E and Google are negotiating long term contracts under which Google would purchase power and cover the infrastructure costs to serve the sites directly, and Google separately signed power purchase agreements for solar generation in Muskogee and Stephens counties. Google has pledged 1 million dollars to the Muskogee community for schools, small businesses, and workforce training tied to the project.
