Florida based Buckley Bros Holdings is seeking to convert a vacant 200,000 square foot former carpet mill building, later used as a cannabis cultivation site, into an 8 to 10 megawatt AI data center in Pawhuska, Osage County. Osage Nation Principal Chief Geoffrey Standing Bear said the nation was not consulted on the proposal. Pawhuska's Public Works Authority voted 3 to 2 in 2026 to impose a full moratorium on new data centers through December 31, 2026, pausing the project.
