The Warrenton Town Council approved a 220,000 square foot Amazon data center in February 2023 at Blackwell Road and Lee Highway, a roughly 550 million dollar project. A citizen lawsuit filed by Citizens for Fauquier County has stalled construction for more than three years while it works through the courts.
