Construction began in September 2026, backed by a 250 million dollar state tax credit under New Jersey's Next NJ Program for AI and a 555 million dollar loan, with completion expected in early 2027. Nearby residents have raised concerns about utilities, noise, and water use, and about whether splitting the land into lots allowed the massive project to avoid a single combined review.
