The Hive Data Center and Solar Plant (withdrawn)
Pegasus Group Holdings. Withdrawn. 340 MW.
Pegasus Group Holdings proposed a 3 billion dollar, 340 megawatt solar-powered data center called The Hive on 717 acres south of Kingman along Interstate 40, near the Griffith Energy Facility, in 2019, but withdrew the plans in 2021. Mohave County has since tightened its rules, now requiring any future data center proposal to supply its own power and water rather than drawing on county infrastructure, and there is currently no large-scale data center operating in the county.

What it would mean nearby
The cooling design has not been reported. If it uses evaporative cooling, a 340 MW facility would draw roughly 1.1 million to 3.9 million gallons of water a day, about what 12,400 households use.
