WRV Nurseries South Brunswick is building a 340,985 square foot data center as part of a broader redevelopment of the 160 acre former Princeton Nurseries site along Route 1, once home to the largest commercial nursery in the United States and vacant since 1995. South Brunswick approved the redevelopment plan in May 2025, and the data center portion, reached from Route 1 via Independence Way, is now under construction. A petition opposing the project circulated starting in June 2026, after approvals were already in place.
