Amazon is reported to be planning data centers on 732 acres of a larger 2,600-acre mixed-use development near Locust Grove, bordering the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania Battlefields National Military Park. Orange County adopted a one-year pause on new large data center applications in April 2026 while it rewrites its land use rules.
