Aligned Data Centers is developing Project Caprock, a 540 megawatt, 313 acre, six building campus totaling 1.65 million square feet just outside Abernathy in Hale County near Lubbock. The company expects the campus to add about 5 billion dollars to the regional economy, with the first building, LBB-01, targeted for service in the first quarter of 2027.
