DC BLOX Grassmere Park Data Center

DC BLOX. On hold, 50 MW

DC BLOX closed on about 24 acres at 648 and 650 Grassmere Park Drive near the Nashville Zoo in July 2026 for roughly 23 million dollars, planning two data center buildings totaling about 50 megawatts and 69,220 square feet plus a substation. Nashville's Metro Council passed a data center moratorium that blocked the project's permits, and a federal judge dismissed DC BLOX's lawsuit challenging the moratorium on October 7, 2026 while giving the company 21 days to file an amended complaint.

What it would mean nearby

The cooling design has not been reported. If it uses evaporative cooling, a 50 MW facility would draw roughly 159,000 to 571,000 gallons of water a day, about what 1,800 households use.
