Meta is expanding its already operating Sarpy County data center campus in Papillion to nine buildings and about 4 million square feet. The original Papillion site was announced in 2017, grew to six buildings by 2018, went live in 2019, and has been expanded multiple times since, most recently with a further 1 million square feet and 400 million dollars in added investment. The campus is one of Meta's largest US data center clusters and continues to grow alongside a competing Google campus in the same city.
