Tokyo-based NTT Data Group paid about 300 million dollars for 173 acres at Pecos and Crismon roads in southeast Mesa, one mile north of Queen Creek, and is proposing seven two-story buildings totaling more than 2.2 million square feet. The Mesa Planning and Zoning Board voted 4-0 on May 13, 2026 to recommend approval of the rezoning, use permit and site plan; the project has drawn resident concern over water use, which NTT says could reach up to 5 million gallons a day at full campus buildout.
