Beale Infrastructure proposed Project Atlas, an air cooled data center on about 270 acres between Highways 72 and 51B south of Coweta in Wagoner County, to be served by Wagoner County Rural Water District number five. Coweta's Planning Commission voted 4 to 1 in January 2026 to recommend denial of the rezoning after residents raised concerns about noise, water demand, power, proximity to homes, and non disclosure agreements the developer sought from officials. Beale withdrew the project entirely on March 30, 2026, following weeks of public opposition including a petition with about 700 signatures.
