A former industrial property in Jacinto City, about eight miles east of downtown Houston, is being marketed as a hyperscale AI data center site with capacity up to 79 megawatts. Neighbors, including nearby low income housing and an elementary school, have raised concerns about noise, water and power strain, though no operator has been publicly confirmed.
