Hyperscale Data, through its subsidiary Alliance Cloud Services, operates a roughly 34 acre data center in the Dowagiac area of Cass County that the company says is already running about 30 megawatts of computing power. The company has announced plans to expand the site to 70 megawatts by 2027 and 340 megawatts by 2029, backed by agreements in principle with local utilities for more power. This is an existing, operating facility that is actively expanding rather than a new proposal.
