Bitdeer Technologies Group, a Singapore based bitcoin mining and AI infrastructure firm, is proposing a data center in Shalersville Township targeting up to 750 megawatts of power capacity. A May 29 developer open house drew a standing room only crowd, and Shalersville Township trustees have since proposed a zoning code change that could effectively keep the project out of the township.
