The option agreements were signed between July 2025 and January 2026 and run for three years, but no formal zoning application had been filed as of early 2026. Sedgwick County's data center moratorium, first imposed in January 2026, remains in effect while planners draft permanent rules, with a public hearing set for November 12, 2026.
