Vantage Data Centers wants to build Trident, a two story, 1.5 million square foot data center on 108 acres at the northwest corner of E-470 and East 48th Avenue in Aurora, next to the Green Valley Ranch neighborhood. Vantage applied to the city on August 25, 2025, and as of September 2026 the project was in its third round of city review with no public hearing yet held, which is possible because data centers are allowed by right in the site's industrial zoning. Green Valley Ranch residents say they only learned of the plan recently and have raised concerns about noise, emissions, and water use, prompting Aurora's council to consider new setback and buffer rules.
