A 2.8 billion dollar, roughly 450 megawatt data center with an on site gas power plant under construction on the former Kohler site. It faces a Southern Environmental Law Center lawsuit over its approval and a Public Service Commission dispute over whether the power plant needs a siting certificate. The county's proposed moratorium would not stop this already underway project.
