T5 Data Centers won a conditional use permit from the Nampa Planning and Zoning Commission in August 2025 to convert an existing single story, more than 80,000 square foot industrial building at 8300 Birch Lane, inside the Park 84 light industrial park, into a small single tenant data center. Company representatives described it as a modest networking facility next to the region's much larger campuses, starting around 5 megawatts with room to grow to about 8.25 megawatts over two to five years, staffed by roughly 11 employees with security levels that could reach five people on some shifts.
