San Francisco based Beale Infrastructure broke ground in 2026 on a data center campus at the northwest corner of 103rd Street and Edgerton Road in De Soto, just west of the Panasonic battery plant, after the De Soto City Council approved the more than 3 billion dollar project in August 2025. The plan has more than doubled since it was first announced, growing from four buildings totaling 1.14 million square feet to four buildings totaling nearly 2.9 million square feet. The city expects 163 million dollars and the local school district 78 million dollars from the larger project.
