Some later local coverage refers to this same GA 53 corridor project as the Plainville Road Project with a slightly different figure of 198 acres. Nearby residents raised concerns about noise and environmental impact, and the project has since been described in regional development materials as approved, though the most detailed public reporting is from the February 2025 rezoning request.
