Fleet Data Centers South Valley and Peru Ridge Campuses
Fleet Data Centers (filed as Tract). Under construction. 230 MW.
Fleet Data Centers, backed by a 4.6 billion dollar senior secured notes deal, broke ground on two adjacent campuses (South Valley and Peru Ridge/Peru Shelf) within Tract's Tahoe Reno Industrial Center land position in Storey County, targeting a combined 230 megawatts of critical compute power in an initial phase. Tract controls well over 1,000 additional acres nearby for further expansion.

What it would mean nearby
The cooling design has not been reported. If it uses evaporative cooling, a 230 MW facility would draw roughly 729,000 to 2.6 million gallons of water a day, about what 8,400 households use.
2026 fuel cost filings is pending; NV Energy says it would take about $4 to $6 off a typical monthly bill. Nothing here changes a bill today. What matters is whether the large load contract survives intact; if it is weakened, the cost of plants built for data centers starts showing up in the next general rate cases around 2027 and 2028. Sierra Pacific 2024 general rate case (docket 24-02026) adds about $2.00 a month to a typical bill from October 2024.
