Data centers in Delaware County

The City of Sunbury has proposed rezoning about 330 acres in neighboring Trenton Township for a large data center campus. Trenton Township trustees unanimously passed a temporary moratorium on data centers and sent a letter opposing the rezoning, citing noise, water use and grid strain, and yard signs opposing the project are visible around the township.

Cologix announced a companion campus in Orange Township as part of its over 1.1 billion dollar central Ohio expansion alongside its Johnstown campus, expected to bring 90 new direct jobs and 10 million dollars in new annual payroll by the end of 2028.
