In King George County
King George supervisors unanimously approved Dahlgren West, the county's first data center project, a 485-acre campus on the north side of Route 301 planned for ten two-story buildings up to 70 feet tall.
Amazon Web Services planned a large campus of up to 19 buildings and 7.5 million square feet on the former Birchwood Power Plant site. The project is stalled by a legal dispute after a newly elected Board of Supervisors sought to renegotiate the original performance agreement, now pending in circuit court.
